Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of https://portajohnsforrent.com and your rental agreement with Porta Johns for Rent. By submitting a quote request, signing a rental agreement, or using our service, you agree to these terms.

Services

We provide portable sanitation rental services including standard porta potties, ADA-compliant portable toilets, restroom trailers, shower trailers, handwash stations, and holding tanks. Specific services and pricing are confirmed in the rental agreement issued for your project.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are custom-built based on the equipment mix, unit volume, location accessibility, and requested service frequency. Quotes are valid for 30 days from issuance unless otherwise specified. Quoted pricing includes initial unit delivery, setup, and routine weekly cleaning and restocking. Specialized fees may apply for excessive wait times during delivery, expedited emergency drop-offs, specialized towing requirements, severe unit contamination, or physical damage to equipment.

Rental periods and billing

Rental periods are flexible. Standard configurations:

• Single-day events: day-rate billing
• Weekend events: weekend-rate billing
• Construction projects: 28-day cycle billing (the industry standard)
• Multi-month deployments: monthly billing

Construction rentals follow a 28-day billing cycle. Multi-site contractor accounts may consolidate billing across all sites and projects through our centralized customer portal.

Delivery, servicing, and pickup

Standard delivery is 2-3 business days. Same-day or next-day delivery is available in select markets and may incur an expedited delivery fee. We commit to scheduled weekly servicing (vacuum-truck pumping, interior wash-down, deodorizer refill, paper and soap restocking) for all standard rentals. Pickup is scheduled at the end of your rental period or when you submit a pickup request through the portal.

Customer responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide reasonable site access for delivery, servicing, and pickup vehicles
• Ensure placement areas are level and clear of obstructions
• Notify us promptly of any service issues, damage, or relocation needs
• Pay invoices according to the agreed billing schedule
• Use units only for their intended purpose
• Not relocate, modify, or tamper with units without our authorization

Damage and contamination

You are responsible for damage to or contamination of units caused by misuse, vandalism, or actions beyond ordinary use. Repair or replacement fees will be invoiced as documented in your rental agreement.

Compliance

We provide equipment that meets ADA Title III, ANSI A117.1, OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51, and applicable state and local Department of Environmental Management standards. Compliance documentation is available on request. You are responsible for confirming that the equipment configuration we provide meets your specific project, permit, or event compliance requirements.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation of confirmed orders may incur cancellation fees as specified in your rental agreement. Deposits paid for restroom trailer or shower trailer event rentals are typically non-refundable within 30 days of the event date due to inventory holds.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the rental agreement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including but not limited to event disruptions, project delays, or third-party claims unless caused by our gross negligence.

Service area

We coordinate portable sanitation across a nationwide network of regional service providers. Service availability, response times, and pricing vary by region. Confirmation of service availability for your specific location is provided at the quote stage.

Modifications

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Active rental agreements are governed by the terms in effect when the agreement was signed.
